Washington Reception to be the Launch Pad for Security Bulletin of Open Source Threats

The Capitol's Carlyle Suites will host Security Solutions International's (SSI) official launch of HS Boost: a new Intelligence Bulletin designed to empower America's law enforcement agencies and First Responders on the front lines of the battle for Homeland Security.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) March 12, 2008 -- The Capitol's Carlyle Suites will host Security Solutions International's (SSI) official launch of HS Boost: a new Intelligence Bulletin designed to empower America's law enforcement agencies and First Responders on the front lines of the battle for Homeland Security.

The March 12th DC launch event will be attended by key Homeland Security professionals including representatives from the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and local law enforcement personnel from across the US, many of whom will also be joining SSI for it's two-day Jihad 2.0 training course, which will be held March 13th and 14th. This high demand course, being performed weekly for local law enforcement groups nation-wide, features Gadi Aviran, CEO of Hazards Threat Analysis, Ltd., and internationally-known intelligence expert.

About HS Boost
SSI President Henry Morgenstern explains, "HS Boost will be the first threat-specific, actionable intelligence report in the USA." The report, available by subscription and for official use only, provides security agencies with the best of intelligence techniques employed in the field of Open Source. Powered by Terrorgence, an Israeli company staffed by veterans of the country's Military Intelligence Directorate, HS Boost provides a detailed monthly analysis of chatter from the Jihadi world.

"By using best practices and proprietary techniques, and through their expertise in a number of fields including Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD), Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), conventional and cyber weapons analysis, forensics, linguistics, and religious and political analysis, Terrorgence brings the capabilities of a complete Intel unit," notes Morgenstern of his intelligence partners and content providers for HS Boost.

The unprecedented security bulletin will cover a full range of threats and investigate pressing security issues including terror cell activity in the USA, threats to public transportation and infrastructure, public event security, target selection intelligence, technical and operational capabilities, current Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) capabilities, trends and outlooks, and more.

About Jihad 2.0: From Virtual to Physical
This unique 2-day training program increases awareness of the entire Terror-threat Life Cycle without undue focus on any one aspect or modus operandi in order to give Homeland Security personnel an advantage in understanding phenomena like Suicide Terror and other tactics which, far too often, are treated as independent or isolated threats.

About Gadi Aviran
Gadi Aviran established Hazard Threat Analysis Ltd. in October 2004 following 25 years of a unique career, combining military service and security related industry positions. He is one of Israel's leading authorities in the field of explosives and technical terror threats. As a Major in the IDF's EOD / IEDD unit, responsible for R&D, testing, fielding and actively operating numerous technical and tactical means for explosive disposal, he personally dealt with over 1400 explosives incidents both domestically and abroad.
