Dean is one of the few guys I know, who openly criticized Google for their approach towards paid links
Dean is a popular moderator at Webmasterworld. Milind Mody from eBrandz says, "I first came across Dean at Webmasterworld. His posts at WebmasterWorld were brilliant and hence I started interacting with him. Some of the things he shared with me (in 2003) are still true in 2008. I consider Dean to be a real SEO guru. I wanted to pick his brain and hence did this interview."

There are some interesting facts in the interview. For example, Dean's first post at Webmasterworld was edited by moderators. Unlike many other marketers, Dean is a little cynical about Social Media Optimization. He also gets candid about his inability to work in corporate environment and the delays in writing his upcoming book on marketing. Dean mentions a few people in this industry whom he likes and admires. Dean is also asked to make 5 future predictions for Search Industry.

"Dean is one of the few guys I know, who openly criticized Google for their approach towards paid links" says Milind. "He also feels that somehow work never gets done at MSN. Dean speaks briefly about Semantic search engines and his take on doing SEO for others Vs doing it for your own website. Overall this interview is a must read for anyone associated with Search Marketing industry".

Milind Mody has written articles in industry magazines like Search Marketing Standard and Website Magazine. Milind has also been interviewed by international technology magazines like Digit and BeneFIT.
