New Plus Size Woman's Clothing Web Boutique Announces Winner of Its Authentic Woman Model Search Contest

Black Cat Plus selects the winner of its Search for the Authentic Woman Model Search Contest for its Spring '08 Collections and annoucnes preliminary details for its Fall '08t Model Search.

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) March 21, 2008 -- Black Cat Plus (www.Blackcatplus.com) is pleased to announce that Erica Larsen is the winner of its Search for the Authentic Woman Model Search Contest. Larsen will be featured as the web boutique's model for its Spring 2008 Collections. As a thank you, she also receives a two-night stay at the Del Monte Lodge in Rochester, NY and a $500 wardrobe credit from Black Cat Plus.

The Model Search Panel chose Larsen, a student majoring in Communications, from over 100 contestants. To enter the contest, models had to submit two photos, be at least 21 years of age, wear at least a size 12, and answer two questions: What is the best lesson I have ever learned? and How do I live an authentic life?

Black Cat Plus's Search for the Authentic Woman Model Search Contest was launched to celebrate the plus size woman and to demonstrate that confidence comes in all shapes and sizes and from that confidence comes the power to change perceptions. Due to the success of the inaugural contest, plans are in the works for the Fall '08 Model Search Contest. For the Fall Contest, plans are to use models with different body types to show how one particular outfit will look on the different body types. Details for the next Black Cat Plus Model Search Contest will be announced in June.
