Debut Novel Depicts Teenagers' Susceptibility to Witchcraft

Based on true events, the story points readers to God for salvation

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) March 23, 2008 -- Based on a true story, You Will Live and Not Die (paperback, 978-1-60477-576-1; hardcover, 978-1-60477-577-8), penned by co-authors Terri and Matthew Sharp and Mercene Bohling, recently hit bookstores. The book follows the story of Ellen Cruze's eldest son, Luke, and his girlfriend, Tilly, two teenagers who become deeply involved in witchcraft and begin experiencing terrifying phenomena as a result. As they fall deeper and deeper into the clutches of Satan, they soon realize there is only one person they can trust to save them--Jesus.

Say the co-authors, "People who go through tragedies need to know that they are not alone. (We want readers) to know Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior and to tell teenagers that God's power is stronger than witchcraft. Jesus loves everybody, and through Jesus we can conquer every evil thing that comes against us. For if God be for us, who can be against us?"

After meeting God in a field full of snow in 1994, Terri Sharp became saved and has been getting to know Him as her personal Savior ever since. You Will Live and Not Die, inspired by the events of her son Matthew's life, is the first book she has ever written, but she already has a sequel planned. She believes this story will help people because "this book is based on the gospel of Jesus Christ, and with Him we conquered and still are conquering."

The co-author also credits God with giving her the self-confidence to come forward with this story at a time where it is greatly needed: "Because of Jesus and what He has done for me on the cross, I try to do the very best in telling the truth and I'm full of the joy of the Lord."
