This ten week fundraising campaign kicked off March 6, 2008 with a party at the BMW Store on Stewart Rd. The campaign will run now through May 16th with a grand finale party for the candidates at the Hyatt downtown on May 16.

Over the course of the ten week campaign, candidates are working hard to raise as much money as possible. At the conclusion of the campaign the male and female who have raised the most money are crowned "Man & Woman of the Year".

When asked why he has accepted this challenge Ed stated "The main reason for my joining the fight against these cancers is the diagnosis of my best friend's wife Annmarie. She was diagnosed in December of 2003 with Leukemia (AML). She has undergone numerous rounds of chemo and has had two transplants. Seeing her fight this battle has made me want to fight to find a cure. I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was seven and have directly benefited from fundraisers like this one, and now it is my turn to pay it forward."

Ed has scheduled a fundraiser dinner and entertainment for May 2nd at Receptions west banquet center (across from western bowl) with all proceeds going towards his campaign to help find a cure. To RSVP for this benefit see his web page http://www.nighttoremember.myevent.com

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the "Man and Woman of the Year" campaign have had a very special place in the hearts of everyone at USA Collision Centers.

In 2006 Joe Sanfillipo III, Chief Operating Officer for USA Collision Centers also ran for "Man of the Year". Joe's wife Annmarie has been battling Leukemia (AML) since 2003. She has had two transplants at the Cleveland Clinic. Under the care of Dr. Slobodan Stanisic from Cincinnati Hematology and Oncology, Annmarie has been cancer free since 2005.

USA Collision Centers is also proud to be the presenting sponsor for this year's campaign.

Ed Taylor is store general manager for USA Collision Centers, Price Hill location. Ed has worked for USA Collision Centers for seven years. Ed is 33 years old, married and has two daughters. Ed lives in Cheviot and has lived in Cincinnati's West Side community his entire life. Prior to taking over USA's Price Hill location Ed opened USA's Sycamore Twp location in 2003. This year at the company's awards banquet Ed won the 110% award. This is the highest award USA Collision Centers gives to an employee. The award is given to someone who goes above and beyond at work and in community service.

USA Collision Centers is locally family owned and operated by the Sanfillipo family and has been in business since 1975. The original location is in Price Hill. USA Collision Centers has four locations throughout greater Cincinnati (Price Hill / Harrison / Sycamore Twp / West Chester).
