New Book Uncovers the True Meaning of the "Unwritten Law" in Law Enforcement

Unwritten Law by Howard V. Blair is an action-packed thriller full of suspense and romance that gives readers a view into the raw life of law enforcement

Mendenhall, MS (PRWEB) March 27, 2008 -- Unwritten Law, a new mystery/romance novel by Howard V. Blair, showcases the untold story of law enforcement learned from personal experiences of the author in his younger days as a police officer. Blair's tale illustrates the lengths to which a good law enforcement officer goes to protect and serve the public…lengths that often go far beyond the "written law."

Author Howard Blair expresses, "It was a real hoot to invent Stark Ransom, a retired private dick. He is conceited, rugged and confident…a man I would have liked to personify in another life, if I had not found success in another profession."

In the book, 57-year-old retired private detective Stark Ransom discovers that his best friend purportedly commits suicide. A fearless man who has killed before, Stark straps on his .44 Silver Hawk and heads to Mississippi to find his friend's killer. The plot thickens when he also meets a beautiful Southern belle that softens the hard crust that shrouds him.

Unwritten Law is a "whodunit" tale that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. A must-read for lovers of both detective stories and romance novels, Blair's stirring and thought-provoking book leads readers on a fast-paced literary adventure.
