Cloning Einstein's Debut Singer 'I Believe' Cracks ACQB's Top 10 Chart alongside Heavy-Hitters Maroon 5, Buckcherry and Pink

Cloning Einstein's Debut Singer "I Believe" enters ACQB's Top 10 Chart alongside Heavy-Hitters Maroon 5, Buckcherry and Pink

(PRWEB) March 27, 2008 -- Cloning Einstein is making true believers out of listeners across America with their single "I Believe", which broke into this weeks ACQB Top 10 chart at #9 alongside heavy-hitters Maroon 5, Buckcherry and P!NK. The 11 tracks on Cloning Einstein's self-titled re-released album draw from their love of rock, reggae, and pop, including a slow-jam, Fugees-inspired cover of U2's classic "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For".

Cloning Einstein, a Philly-based fivesome whose debut album was originally released in 2000, spawning several hits on MP3.com, have utilized the many new opportunities provided by the internet including Myspace, iTunes, CD Baby, and Rhapsody to bring their music to a new audience in 2008. Listeners and reviewers across the internet have taken notice of Cloning Einstein's return including Evolution of Media's Erin Worm who recently wrote ""the album by the five member group has a sound of sophistication that is portrayed throughout every song. Their adult pop sound can be compared to artists such as Billy Joel or Paul Carrack…. This band has got a lot to look forward to and their fans should be excited that their presence is being recognized."

Blessed to have the band back together after all these years
Founding band member and bassist Joe Dougherty is astounded by Cloning Einstein's hot start on ACQB radio after more than eight years on hiatus. The band, who had not played together since the start of the millennium, were recently reunited at the hospital bed of former manager Bob McGrody. What started as a friendly jam session for old times sake, lead to the re-release of Cloning Einstein's long forgotten album. Joe Dougherty feels "Blessed to have the band back together after all these years" and is thankful that "Cloning Einstein's music has been able to stand the test of time so well."
