Fort Lauderdale, Fl (PRWEB) March 29, 2008 -- Hacienda Matapalo has received their permit to begin work on the main interior road, which will span from the property frontage all the way up to the 125-acre nature preserve. This road will provide easy access up and down the property without the need for horses.

"Our road team is ready to begin work as soon as Monday, March 31st. The equipment is on its way to the property today" said partner, Edwin Acosta. However, "yes, we will still provide the horseback tour that our owners and guests enjoy so much", stated Mr. Acosta with his usual grand smile.

This road can be accessed directly from the Costanera Highway (Pacific Coast Highway), which is currently being raised, widened and paved. The finished Costanera Highway will reduce the drive from the new International Airport (soon to be open in the Sierpe Valley), to the top elevations of Hacienda Matapalo, to only about an hour.

"Our road team is ready to begin work as soon as Monday, March 31st. The equipment is on its way to the property today" said partner, Edwin Acosta. This road will provide easy access up and down the property without the need for horses. However, "yes, we will still provide the horseback tour that our owners and guests enjoy so much", stated Mr. Acosta with his usual grand smile.

If you haven't been south of Quepos for a while and remember the bumpy ride, you'll be very happy to learn the new Costanera Highway project is making significant progress on a daily basis. Nearly all of the bridges from Quepos to Matapalo are being rebuilt or replaced, with many of them already completed. This stretch of road between Quepos and Dominical connect the Central Pacific Coast with Costa Rica's Southern Zone and the Osa Peninsula.

The completion of the new Costanera Highway coincides with Hacienda Matapalo's expected delivery of their Phase One Condominiums and Villas. "The new road, along with the Country's third International Airport, will make experiencing the "Pura Vida" lifestyle of Hacienda Matapalo an easily achieved state of mind," stated partner Brian Albury.
