Tampa Bay, FL (PRWEB) April 2, 2008 -- hr: magazine's new format is featured in a front row promotion at over 700 Barnes & Noble stores. Preliminary newsstand reports of hr: (Watches and Luxury Lifestyle) magazine show a strong increase in sales.
hr: magazine recently changed its content and morphed into a luxury lifestyle magazine based on mechanical timepieces. The change in content is proving to be a real winner at the newsstand and on-line. "Our on-line sales have increased 400%," stated hr: publisher HP Jeschke. "Additionally at the newsstands the publication is selling like hotcakes, we are at highest ever sales."
HP went on to state that the new content is 100% responsible for the spike in sales.
hr: has been published for the last nine years as a premier men's mechanical watch magazine. The change in format has caused quite a stir among the watch collecting and watch enthusiast world. "The watches featured in our magazine are worn by some of the wealthiest people in America," stated HP. "High-end watch enthusiasts, steeped in lifestyles considered luxurious, have a variety of approaches to life. From fabulous private island vacations to arctic snow mobile adventures, we cover it all."
The current issue of hr: (Watches and Luxury Lifestyle) magazine features famed race car driver Carroll Shelby creator of the Cobra 427. It also features a story on BLU creators of futuristic mechanical timepieces entitled "Essence of the Past, Vision of the Future", DeBeers "Watches Built on Diamonds" and an intriguing story about vacationing on a private island owned by David Copperfield and enjoyed by superstars like Oprah and John Travolta.
hr: is currently distributed in the U.S. through Time Warner and distributed in Europe during the annual international watch and jewelry exhibitions.
