White Plains, NY (PRWEB) April 7, 2008 -- The award-winning Westchester Chordsmen Chorus will host two performances of Wild, Wild Westchester II [or How the West Was Sung], an original a cappella musical comedy with modern day twists for the young and the old to enjoy.
The show will feature a western spin to traditional Chordsmen songs as well as a rousing repertoire of foot stoppin' and hand clappin' tunes like "Shakin' the Blues Away," "Home on the Range," "Deep in the Heart of Texas" and "Buttons and Bows."
"The audience will definitely get to see a side of Chordsmen members that they've never seen before!" says John Fotia, the Wild, Wild Westchester II writer and director. "It's really an exuberant show with lots of pop culture references. Of course, the chorus is performing at its best these days with our new director Keith Harris."

"This is a truly remarkable opportunity as we know there are men out there itching to get back into music," says Keith Harris, Westchester Chordsmen Chorus director. "Maybe they sang in high school or college. Perhaps they just belt it out in the shower. We know because we were those guys too. For guys who can sing, this program will strengthen your abilities and give you more confidence to perform. And, music making is proven to be beneficial both physically and emotionally. We're excited to provide this opportunity to the community."
