Traditional Homewares Hub Undergoes Expansion

Europe's centre of period-style home furnishings on the internet is expanding their product range, adding an esteemed new supplier to their catalogue.

(PRWEB) April 7, 2008 -- Architectural Classics has been known since 1980 to set the standard in architectural hardware.

Joining with Architectural Classics gives home builders, renovators and decorators everywhere access to our high-quality products. As a portal for BAL, Architectural Classics is trusted, well-established and has the resources to make renovating a joyful experience.
They deal in an enormous range of both genuine antiques, and classical reproductions in hardware and lighting, currently with over 5.000 products in their range. The company has just joined forces with BAL Maniglie; an Italian company that creates high-quality, exceptionally designed door furniture.

Niall McDonagh, Managing Director of Architectural Classics, says of the union: "The people at BAL Maniglie really care about the quality of their work. The prestigious buildings their hardware features on seems to give them extra pride in all of their work. The team have always willing to go an extra mile for us -- I expect their customers feel just as valued."

The union is a win for traditional home renovators worldwide, further centralising sources of period-style architectural items, and making their product searches much easier.

BAL Maniglie has been trading since 1882.
BAL handles have featured on the doors of King Baldovino of Belgium, the Vatican Governorship, the Hotel Cipriani and the Grand Hotel dei Dogi in Venice, the famous poet Gabriele D'Annunzio's "Vittoriale" in Gardone Riviera, and historical villas like "Villa Feltrinelli" on the Garda Lake.

There will initially be 150 products from the BAL range added to the Architectural Classics site. These products are all available in a choice from 23 finishes, making it easy for customers to match their current home furnishings, no matter how obscure their base metal is. Finishes include 5 different types of brass, 3 different types of gold, and polished and unpolished nickel, as well as exotic metals such as inca silver, bronze, and cobalt.

Mr. Marco Becchetti, General manager of BAL Maniglie, believes the partnership is even more positive for the customers than the companies involved. "Joining with Architectural Classics gives home builders, renovators and decorators everywhere access to our high-quality products. As a portal for BAL, Architectural Classics is trusted, well-established and has the resources to make renovating a joyful experience."

Products from the BAL Maniglie range will be available at architecturalclassics.com/bal starting from the 7th of April.

For further information and comment please contact Niall McDonagh, managing director of Architectural Classics.
