The firm also ranked among the top 40 U. S. interior design firms for healthcare, the third time that the firm has accomplished this.

The magazine calculated its rankings based on interior design fees, including all types of interiors work, including commercial and residential; all aspects of a firm's interior design practice, from strategic planning and programming to design and project management, and fees paid to a firm for work performed by employees and independent contractors who are "full-time staff equivalent."
JRS ranked No. 77 on the magazine's list with 45 interior design professionals on staff for the reporting period. Last year, JRS was No. 95 with a staff of 28.
JRS' interior design clients include some of the New York area's leading financial institutions, law firms, commercial building owners and healthcare providers.
The firm's recent interior projects include bank branches for North Fork Bank (now Capital One Bank), JPMorgan Chase, Alma Bank, Madison National Bank, Esquire Bank, Peapack-Gladstone Bank and Hudson Savings Bank and offices in Manhattan for Citicorp. Other recent clients included Time Equities and Jenny Craig in Manhattan and Skyline Management on Long Island.

The magazine's annual business survey of Healthcare Interior Design giants ranked the largest firms by healthcare design fees for the 12-month period from July 2006 to June 2007.
