Hillside, NJ (PRWEB) April 11, 2008 -- HardKandy Records is celebrating their 10th year in business and bringing in 2008 in a major way. They are releasing 8 albums on April 30, 2008. These albums will be released internationally through Itunes.com, Itunes international, slacker.com, Napster.com, Amazon.com, emusic.com, Real networks, etc., including all major music download sites.
Two of the albums feature Greg L.Hines, CEO/President, as an artist, one being the album "Songs for Her" (under the name G.L.Hines). The album was part of his courtship with his wife. When they were dating he wrote her a song for each of her visits to HardKandyLand Studios (the studio where all of HardKandy Records Inc. artists record, it is also open for rental). The other album was recorded under the name Brother Noyze the Mad Musician (Greg L.Hines' production name). The album is entitled "Feel This" and features music ranging from rock, pop, soul, dance and electronica.
Other albums being released are successful author Charisse Carney-Nunes spoken word/jazz/r&b album "Songs Of A Sistermom-The Album," based on her popular book by the same name.
House of Ill repute also returns with their first album in over 10 years, "The Black House Sessions." Greg Hines says, "Their first album still sells so well they didn't feel compelled to release another until I convinced them." Their first album is called "Confessions of a Lover Gone Mad" -- it sells well on Itunes.com and Napster.com.
Other albums are Royal Doll's debut album "Deeper Down" (pop/rock/r&b, trip hop); Kosmic Kandy's debut album "Kosmic Kandy" (electronica); Alphafemes' debut album "First Sight" (a critic's favorite, actually previously released in CD form, it's the first time as a digital release); and lastly, but certainly not least, critically acclaimed group Sugar Stick's much anticipated third album "Fairy dust and Angel's breath" (pop, r&b, rock, trip hop, hip hop, spoken word).
These albums are all download exclusive, with the exception of Alphafemes "First sight," which is available in standard CD format at www.hardkandyrecords.com and www.cdbaby.com.
