Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 16, 2008 -- 43 renowned Northwest artists are participating in this unique exhibition, "What Does Compassion Look Like?" The Friesen Gallery has been exhibiting contemporary painting and sculpture in Seattle for nearly 20 years. Centrally located across from the Seattle Art Museum and Benaroya Symphony Hall, the Gallery has garnered a reputation for mounting significant exhibitions by important artists.

The evocative and personal question at the heart of this exhibition is sure to generate a greater understanding of the many forms and expressions compassion can take.
The exhibition is on display in conjunction with Seattle's five-day compassion conference with the Dalai Lama.
