Book Coaches Readers on How to Walk through Life's Adversity

Author's debut documents what she did to alleviate the pain in her life.

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2008 -- When comforting the grieving, we are all presented with a universal dilemma--what do we say? What do we do? What would be most beneficial for the poor soul who stands in front of us seeking words of comfort and wisdom? We all have trouble when comforting those who grieve. First-time author, Lavita Fielder Mooney, has successfully walked through some of life's greatest sorrows. Because of this, she helps us to understand what we can say and do for those who are experiencing the worst grief of their lives. Her debut book, Crying for Me (paperback, 978-1-60477-605-8), is not only a how-to on comforting the grieving, but it also gives us great insight into how to walk through life's greatest sorrows and adversities.

Says Mooney, "My book is timely. It would be timely in any era, but much more so when our world is ridden with such evil and unimaginable grief which comes from such senseless shootings and murder of innocent people. People are in great need of help dealing with this type of grief. In my book I believe I have provided, through my experiences and even through biblical experiences, how to get through this pit of grief and eventually attain glorious victory through Jesus Christ."

Even as a Christian, knowing the right and wrong things to do, Mooney writes about all the wrong things she tried to do to alleviate the pain in her life. She is not afraid of sharing with readers the many wrong choices she made in trying to walk through grief. "I pray that by my realness and honesty, I can show others the only source of true comfort and healing is from the One who is the ultimate Comforter and Healer," she says.

Lavita Fielder Mooney resides in Amarillo, Texas, with her husband, Michael.
