New Book Teaches the Bible in Way Youths Can Understand

Author hopes to fill a void he believes exists in Christian writing

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2008 -- Who is God? Why is it so important to know Him? Christian author Alan Noble's new book, Foundations of the Christian Faith: Basic Doctrines for Young People (paperback, 978-1-60477-694-2), attempts to answer these questions and instill in readers a newfound reverence for the Bible by giving breadth and depth to their understanding of Christian doctrine. By teaching Christian theology, the "meat of the Word," in a way young people can understand, the author hopes to fill a void he believes exists in Christian writing for young people.

Says the author, "I hope readers will gain a personal understanding of the faith they have chosen. I want to build understandings within the hearts and minds of young Christians that will allow them to withstand criticism and rejection from those who don't believe. For the unsaved, the book explains salvation and gives the reader an opportunity to find salvation in Christ."

A born-again Christian and lifelong educator of children, Noble has taught the foundations of the faith to new adult Christians and is well capable of putting those ideas into a syntax that is easily understood by children. His book is a product of extensive research and a lifetime of studying God's Word and, says the author, "One of my greatest joys is seeing children trust Christ for salvation at a young age, then helping them to grow in their faith."

The author currently resides in Livingston, Texas.
