Debut Book Paints Endearing Portrait of Author's Childhood Life

Shows how to embrace inherited imperfections in a lighthearted way.

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2008 -- Craig T. Feigh recently debuted All My Imperfections I Inherited from My Mom (paperback, 978-1-60477-791-8), an endearing portrait of growing up in 20th century America. The book is a humorous compilation of short stories reflecting on many of the physical imperfections that all of us inherit from our parents. Many of these imperfections--allergies, hair loss, weight gain, acne, ugly toes--can lead to depression and low self-esteem if taken too seriously. But the key to avoiding this is in allowing the awkward moments of growing up to be transformed into lessons of truth.

Says Feigh, "Low self-esteem in the number one problem in the USA leading to an increase in crime and suicides. We all need to laugh at our imperfections and realize our 'uniqueness' is what sets us apart and gives each of us character. Don't worry about what others think of you because they are consumed with their own imperfections."

A successful businessman, entrepreneur, and father who knows what's important in life and strives to put everything in perspective, Feigh has been referred to as the "male Erma Bombeck." A self-described "perceptionist" who studies human nature, the author reflects upon the trials and tribulations resulting from many of his youthful imperfections in a witty, lighthearted manner, and it will imbue readers with a new affinity for themselves and others--imperfections and all.

Craig T. Feigh resides in Overland Park, Kansas, with his wife and son.
