U-Krime and DJ Whoo Kid Team For Street Cinema

U-Krime and DJ Whoo Kid team for Street Cinema -- new mixtape from Brooklyn's U-Krime on April 22.

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 18, 2008 -- With the recent resurgence of dance-oriented hits, the definition of the Hip Hop street anthem has morphed beyond beats and lyrics alone. Passion is the key element of a movement that touches people at their core, inspiring them to follow any given artist's ideal. With their new project, The New York Krimes Vol 3: Street Cinema, the Brooklyn trio U-Krime aspires to connect with fans who appreciate the synergy of lyrical finesse and real life inspiration.

As a group, 45, Strai-Jacket and RealmReality understand and emote the essence of Hip Hop in it's truest form through every song they write, while manifesting the passion and energy that legendary street anthems are born from. They have teamed with world-famous radio personality and G-Unit soldier DJ Whoo Kid to create the 15-track Street Cinema project.

With appearances from Sam Scarfo, 40 Glocc and Prodigy, and production from Black Milk, Chad Wes, Full Blast, Double Up and Freebass, the mixtape is an exciting prelude to U-Krime's upcoming full-length album. Their Black Milk-produced single "Brooklyn" pays homage to the challenging life they've faced and how far they've come.

"We put forth the bite and that hunger in the music that makes people want to hear it," explains RealmReality. "That real, raw, street Hip Hop that the East Coast is known for. There are a lot of people in music right now that are really trying to get there, and we are doing our part to get there too."
