Saving the American Family Vacation

Branson Tourism Center releases plan for Affordable Family Summer Fun Package 2008 and gas discounts for family vacationers coming to Branson, MO, this summer.

Branson, MO (PRWEB) April 19, 2008 -- Branson Tourism Center (BTC), the leading provider of discount vacation packages to the popular tourist destination Branson, Missouri, announces its campaign to counter the nation's current economic woes by offering activity-rich, high value, affordable vacation experiences to America's families during the 2008 summer season.

BTC and its lodging, entertainment, attractions and restaurant partners, have taken an intentional and concerted effort to design reasonably priced vacation options for America's families visiting Branson this summer.

We have created a group of affordably priced family packages which offer a combination of lodging, shows, restaurant vouchers, gift baskets and tickets to attractions that many families will be able to take advantage of in 2008, despite the tough economic times.
Lianne Milton, owner of Branson Tourism Center, says, "We have created a group of affordably priced family packages which offer a combination of lodging, shows, restaurant vouchers, gift baskets and tickets to attractions that many families will be able to take advantage of in 2008, despite the tough economic times."

Just one example of BTC's Affordable Family Summer Fun Package includes: 5 nights lodging (6 days), tickets for Mom, Dad and two children (17 and under) to attend 3 different shows (a few examples of shows Yakov, Broadway, Spirit of the Dance, Presleys' etc.) and tickets for the entire family for Laser Tag/Mini-Golf, $60 in meal vouchers, a VIP Savings Book (with coupons valued at more than $1500), a Snack Basket in your room and a double BTC gas discount -- all for only $599.

Milton continues, "A family may decide, due to budget constraints, not to go to one of the coastal resorts in Florida or California. Branson will prove to be an excellent option for them. Vacations will always be important for families to get away, recharge batteries, re-connect and have fun. Branson is all about families and we are gearing up for a very busy 2008."

Milton goes on to share, "Branson has always been a reliable choice for budget-conscious travelers and 2008 will be no different. This small town of several thousand citizens welcomes several million annual visitors. Branson offers a variety of world-class amenities for families. Award winning theme parks, water parks, go-carts, laser-tag, miniature golf, boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, the list goes on. Branson is home to unique family-friendly museums, championship golf courses, and dozens of live shows. And there are also countless restaurant and lodging options to choose from."

In light of increasing gas prices, Michael J. Right, Vice President, Public Affairs for the Missouri division of A.A.A. (which covers Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, southern Illinois, and eastern Kansas) related that "Missouri will continue to sit at or near the top of nation's 'best gasoline prices' list because of the state's excellent distribution system, lower than national average fuel taxes and an aggressive competitive stance taken by Missouri retailers. "

In addition to the favorable gasoline conditions in Missouri, Milton says, "BTC will double the regular gasoline discount to 40 cents per gallon, for our customers who take advantage of our Affordable Family Summer Fun Package when they travel to Branson this summer."
