“This is an exciting time, the thirst for knowledge and information around the green movement and the environment is at an all time high” stated Anna Rising, Executive Director of the EarthLab Foundation, “we’re pleased to have aligned with so many top tier partners, committed to creating awareness in support of the environment. As individuals, committing to adopting solutions is an important first step in raising personal awareness and reducing our carbon footprints. Each of us must also demand that our leaders make policy changes to solve the climate crisis."

EarthLab came into prominence last summer, powering the Carbon and Lifestyle Calculator for the series of Live Earth concerts staged throughout the world on 07.07.07. The EarthLab calculator has since become the most widely used carbon calculator in the world, with over 1.75 million people receiving their carbon footprints. The personalized Carbon and Lifestyle Calculator is a unique three-minute survey that generates a carbon footprint score (ECP Score). Users save their score, then track their progress over time as they incorporate changes in their life to reduce their carbon footprint while developing their own personal green strategy. In addition, users can compare their personal results to average ECP scores by city, state, and even country.

In addition to the opportunity to heighten awareness leading to a reduced footprint, EarthLab is featuring a “Living With Ed” sweepstakes. The grand prize winner will be whisked off to Hollywood, CA to spend the day with Actor and committed environmentalist Ed Begley, Jr. The sweepstakes coincides with the release of “Living Like Ed”, Ed Begley Jr’s newest book and “Living With Ed”, Season One DVD of Ed’s HGTV television show.

Anyone can calculate and understand their personal environmental impact with EarthLab’s free Carbon and Lifestyle calculator now available at www.earthlab.com
