Novel Guides Teenagers' Way to Falling in Love with God
Xulon author releases second book in a planned series
Longwood (PRWEB) April 19, 2008 -- In a newly released Xulon Press book, The Way of Love (paperback), the second in author Kelly Leigh Halsch's Pathway of Light series, heroine Morgan Peters seeks to further discover God's love and His purpose for her life. As Morgan works through her relationships with friends and family as well as her spiritual life, she begins to grow deeper in her understanding of God. The book is just the latest in the continuing saga of a young girl beginning to fall in love with God--and, promises the author, there are more books to come that will tell Morgan's story.
Says Halsch, a college student who is currently majoring in English with a minor in biblical studies at the highly accredited Biola University, "I feel like God taught me a lot during my teenage years and has given me the ability to share what I have learned through these novels and through Morgan's story. I hope readers will walk away with a greater sense of God's great and inseparable hold on His children. I hope they will see that we, like Morgan, sometimes need to just be still and know He is God."
Just take it from Halsch--having recently been a teenage girl herself, she knows many of the challenges and questions they have and is prepared to address these with aplomb. "This book really focuses on the spiritual issues that young women and new Christians face and how to apply God s love and Biblical teachings to their lives," she says.
Kelly Leigh Halsch is currently enrolled at Biola University in La Mirada, California.
Xulon Press, a part of Salem Communications Corporation, is the world's largest Christian publisher, with more than 5,000 titles published to date. Retailers may order The Way of Love through Ingram Book Company and/or Spring Arbor Book Distributors.
