Maximized Living Makeover Event a Huge Success! On Columbine & Virginia Tech Anniversaries, Hundreds Attend Rally for Safer and Healthier Community

In honor of the nine year anniversary of the Columbine school shootings and the one year anniversary of the Virginia Tech massacre, over 900 people packed into Columbine High School for the year's first Maximized Living Makeover event, making it a huge success!
We were humbled by the opportunity to hold our event at such a historically important location and to be able to honor those impacted by the tragedy. We are excited to have reached so many people in the community in a positive way and we feel confident that we are one step closer to making the world a better place.

Celebration, FL (PRWEB) April 22, 2008 -- In honor of the nine year anniversary of the Columbine school shootings and the one year anniversary of the Virginia Tech massacre, over 900 people packed into Columbine High School for the year's first Maximized Living Makeover event, making it a huge success! Maximized Living was founded in 1999 by NYT best-selling authors Dr.'s Ben Lerner and Greg Loman and has expanded into a "movement of health" across the country over the past five years.

The Maximized Living Makeover event was held on April 19 and focused on the progress being made in national mental health and how it relates to the aforementioned tragedies, as well as the "5 Essentials" that are the cornerstones of the Maximized Living program: nutrition, exercise, nervous system health, elimination of toxins, and strong relationships leading to stress reduction.

Attendance included Columbine-related foundation members, school officials, administrators, elected officials from the State, and many others wishing to show their support on the anniversary of the school shootings, as well as learn to live a Maximized life. Dr. Lerner led the program in conjunction with Maximized Living Health Center doctors from the Denver and Colorado Springs area, along with Gwen Olsen, a former Pharmaceutical Sales Rep and best-selling author of "Confessions of an RX Drug Pusher".

The Maximized Living Program, The Maximized Living Foundation and the Maximized Living Health Centers also donated in excess of $5,000 to the Principals Discretionary Fund at Columbine High School. On behalf of Maximized Living, Dr. Lerner states, "We were humbled by the opportunity to hold our event at such a historically important location and to be able to honor those impacted by the tragedy. We are excited to have reached so many people in the community in a positive way and we feel confident that we are one step closer to making the world a better place."

The Maximized Living Makeover has transformed over 20,000 lives and is on a mission to change millions! Maximized Living has scheduled a series of Maximized Living Makeover events throughout the country. Please consult with maximizedliving.com for the most up-to-date event information.
