Adorama's 100 in 100 Part II Focuses On Photo-Quality Inkjet Printing at Home

Unique editorial section of popular camera retailer's web site enters eleventh week of free daily photography tips.

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 28, 2008 -- Adorama Camera, one of the top photographic retailers in the United States, enters its eleventh week of providing free daily photography tips today by offering advice to help photographers get the best possible photographic prints from their inkjet printers. "100 in 100 Part II" (http://www.adorama.com/Catalog.tpl?op=academy_new&article=100in100_II) is a 20-week series of free online articles that is delivering 100 photographic tips in 100 days.

This week's tips will include inkjet printer, paper and ink buying advice, including a guide to offbeat inkjet printing surfaces such as silk, canvas and magnet sheets. One tip will show readers how to clean their inkjet printers. "One of the most common complaints we get concerns problems with lines on prints, which is typically caused by dirty inkjet nozzles, and that results in wasted ink and paper," notes 100 in 100 editor Mason Resnick. "This information should help reduce or eliminate this problem."

Over the last ten weeks, Adorama's 100 in 100 Part II has covered a wide variety of subjects, including:
Shooting in low light
Sports/action photography
Digital camera scene modes (part 1)
Shoot to sell -- successful eBay photography
Make ultimate-quality digital prints
Digital infrared photography
Just add water
Shooting by window light
Film photography survival guide for the digital age
"Spring Mix" variety of tips

Visitors can find all 100 in 100 Part II articles at the Adorama Imaging Resource Center (AIRC), along with the original 100 in 100, which ran last fall and included 100 more photography tips.

Resnick is inviting bloggers and webmasters with photo-related content to link to "100 in 100," (http://www.adorama.com/Catalog.tpl?op=academy_new&article=100in100_II) "If you have photography-related content on your site, this will add value to it," he notes.

Daily and weekly summaries will be available via the AIRC's News Desk RSS feed (http://www.adorama.com/catalog.tpl?op=NewsDesk_Home).

Online photo magazine at a retail site?

AIRC -- Adorama Imaging Resource Center (http://www.adorama.com/learn) is the choice destination for photographers at all levels of experience who want to improve their picture-taking and image-editing skills. AIRC has nearly 400 how-to photography articles, buying guides and picture-selling advice, as well as daily breaking news about the photography industry, written by a team of top photography experts.

Why would Adorama, a well-respected New York-based camera retailer, publish what is essentially an online photo magazine? For the same reason it has also partnered with the Perfect Picture School of Photography (http://www.ppsop.net) to offer online photography courses, and why it offers dozens of live workshops for photographers on location in its store in New York's Photo District that have been attended by hundreds of enthusiastic students. "We believe the more information and knowledge we can provide, the more people will trust Adorama both as a reliable and trusted information source and as a place where they can feel comfortable buying their photographic gear," says Resnick.
