Author's Debut Revivifies Sick and Ailing Readers' Faith

New book draws from author's personal and ministerial experiences

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) April 27, 2008 -- Raymond Allen Carroll's debut book, The Road to Healing ($9.99, paperback, 978-1-60477-639-3), hit bookstores recently, and the composition could not have come at a more appropriate time. There exist many sick and ailing people in this world today--both physically and spiritually--some of which do not desire to be healed. The sick and suffering person needs to assume initial responsibility for their own healing. Most importantly, when one seeks physical healing, it is the foundation of salvation. In fact, the Bible suggests, in Psalm 103 and James 5, that spiritual healing should precede physical healing. Then faith must be in place for the wholeness of the person, as related to wellness of the body, to be achieved.

Says Carroll, "I believe my book is biblical in nature. I believe that in principle it is true to the Bible in both essence and in spirit. It is my sincere hope that those who read this book will experience a revivification of their faith in God's ability and will to heal their own ailing bodies."

Husband, father, educator, pastor, and biblical scholar, Carroll is a first-time author who says his book shares with readers many of his personal experiences drawn from his ministry along with his own personal healing. This excellent guide for those seeking God's touch of healing in their lives represents the fulfillment of a longtime goal that began when God personally called him to write this book. "I do love the Lord," he says, "and it is my full intention to be obedient to Him in all matters. Somehow, he led me to (these) dear people."
