Whirlwind weekend, featuring seven fun-filled events for women, planned in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas.

SATC Weekend Kick Off Party
SATC fanatics will gather for a fun party at a private clubhouse in Elkridge, MD, convenient to both Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. women. The party will feature SATC episodes on the television screen, warm food, "girl talk," chair massages by Downtown Massage Therapists (www.DowntownMTs.com), manicures by Nail Taxi (www.NailTaxi.com), a sensual product line overview from Slumber Parties by Renee (www.SlumberPartiesByReneeM.com), door prizes, take home gifts, and more. This event will be benefiting both of the local American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and Dress for Success charity organizations. 7 PM - 12 AM. $18/GATC members, $24/non-GATC members (guests). Washington, D.C. - Saturday, May 31
What to Wear Fashion Shopping
Terra (www.ShopTerraDC.com), a boutique in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of D.C. is offering attendees a private "What to Wear" session, complete with individual mini-consultations and a Polaroid take-away with tips on how to dress for a specific body type. The event kicks off with lunch at nearby Sette Osteria and concludes with a stroll to several area boutiques. 11:30 AM - 5 PM. No upfront cost (pay-your-own-way for lunch, shopping, and transportation). Open to GATC members only. Membership requires annual dues of $19.95 and is open to women in the general public.
Sex and the City: the Movie
Girls and the City meets up for a matinee at the AMC Theatres Mazza Gallerie Cinema in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of D.C. Sarah Jessica Parker returns once again as Carrie Bradshaw, the style maven journalist whose romantic exploits were the key focus of the show. Also reprising their roles are Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon, with the series' executive producer Michael Patrick King taking on writing and directing duties. Dreamgirls' Jennifer Hudson co-stars as Parker's assistant. 5 PM - 7 PM. Time and location subject to change. No upfront cost (pay-your-own-way for pre-purchased movie ticket, snacks, and transportation). Open to women in the general public.
Girls Night Out Dinner
Meet up at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant, across the street, immediately following the "Sex and the City: the Movie" viewing in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of D.C., to discuss it and the show's impact on today's woman. Enjoy some much needed "girl talk" and mingling with members and their guests. 8 PM - 10 PM. No upfront cost (pay-your-own-way for dinner, drinks, tax, and gratuity). Open to women in the general public. Do not need to attend preceding movie event to attend the Girls Night Out Dinner.
Baltimore, MD - Sunday, June 1
Breakfast with the Girls
Join the "morning after" breakfast out with the girls at Grille 700 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in the Harbor East neighborhood of Baltimore. Enjoy some much needed "girl time" and get better acquainted with fellow members and their guests. 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. No upfront cost (pay-your-own-way for breakfast, drinks, tax, and gratuity). Open to women in the general public. Optional for attendees to attend the movie event following Breakfast with the Girls.
Sex and the City: the Movie
To provide Baltimore members with a chance to view for the movie as a group, Girls and the City will meet up for a matinee of "Sex and the City: the Movie" at the new Landmark Theatre in the Harbor East neighborhood of Baltimore. At the Landmark Theatre in Harbor East, alcoholic beverages can be purchased and enjoyed during the movie. 12 PM - 2 PM. Time and location subject to change. No upfront cost (pay-your-own-way for pre-purchased movie ticket, snacks, and transportation). Open to women in the general public.
Chauffeured Wine Tour
Ten lucky ladies will get a first-class tour of the North Central Maryland wineries and cellars, with professionally chauffeured limousine service from The Limo Lady (www.TheLimoLady.com) round-trip from the Landmark Theatre in the Harbor East neighborhood of Baltimore. Attendees will get a boxed lunch while en route to the first winery, making a total of three stops in four hours. 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM. Time and pick-up/drop-off location subject to change, based on the movie theater event preceding this event. $52/GATC members, $58/non-GATC members (guests). Open to women in the general public.
