New Photographic Works by Artist Fletcher Boland
Photographs Use Unique Moments to Show Boundless Views of Natural World
Somerville, MA (PRWEB) April 30, 2008 -- Through his photography, artist Fletcher Boland is bridging a connection for his viewers between their day to day lives and their natural surroundings. Boland's photographs capture images of the wild landscape in a fresh and unencumbered way: "I hope to bring forth a view of the boundless natural world one does not frequently see, but is surely real."
Winner of both national and local awards, Boland is showcasing his latest photographic works in conjunction with the Somerville Open Studios on May 3rd + 4th. His work can be viewed at the St. Anne's Parish Hall at 50 Thurston St, Somerville from noon-6pm. Boland's exhibit features both black and white and color landscape photographs from his travels within the United States and abroad.
Boland's most recent exhibit was at the Harvey Wheeler Center (Concord, MA), a showing of his mountain and coastal photographs. His work has also been featured in a number of shows at Wheaton College (Norton, MA).

About Fletcher Boland
Winner of both national and local awards, Boland is an accomplished visual artist and works in a variety of mediums. He studied sculpture and photography at Wheaton College in Norton, MA. Themes in Boland's Photographic works include landscapes of the New England coast, the White Mountains, Cape Cod, the American west, and more.
