Alliance of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs (ABLE) Ushers in New Era of Leadership, New Direction

The nation's premier African American business leaders' organization elects new President and welcomes new Executive Director.

Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) May 19, 2008 -- The Alliance of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs (ABLE) recently elected Anthony R. Kitchens as its newest President. A highly-respected businessman and Chicago native, Kitchens is also the President and CEO of KBS Computer Services, a 16-year-old, full-service IT firm based in Olympia Fields, Illinois just south of Chicago.

Kitchens joined ABLE in 2001 as one of its youngest members. Within a year, he was elected Treasurer and served on several key committees. Earlier this year, he took office as President after serving as Vice President.

He also plans to "build strong relationships with corporate boardroom executives and global business leaders on behalf of ABLE members." Kitchens is serving a two-year term.

In addition to electing Kitchens President, ABLE also welcomed a new Executive Director. Donna Gaines brings nearly 30 years of entrepreneurial, business development, and organizational management experience to ABLE and is in charge of directing the organization's member and corporate relations initiatives. She previously served as the Executive Director of the International Trade Bureau at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition under the leadership of Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr.
