Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 21, 2008 -- InventHelp®, America's largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Temple City, Calif., has designed a strap that could secure a football shoulder pad in place. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
The "Slip-No-More" could secure a football shoulder pad in place, preventing it from slipping during a game. This feature would eliminate the need for a player to ask for assistance from other players or coaches. The invention could enhance the player's comfort during the football game. The apparatus could minimize the time and energy a football player spends adjusting football pads before and during a game.
The Slip-No-More unit would measure 18 to 20 inches long and 1-1/2 inches wide. The invention would consist of a strap that would contain a standard should pad slip at one end. The unit would be producible from metal materials and hook-and-loop fasteners. The unit would contain a 4-inch section of hook-and-loop fasteners. A user would install the unit onto the existing football shoulder pads and fasten the ends together. Variations with different lengths and degrees of thickness may be offered.
