Barack Obama--How Will He Celebrate Father's Day In June 2008?

On Father's Day Barack Obama can expect to celebrate--because he has two young girls, ages 6 and 8. But teenagers, especially boys, find it uncool to be enthusiastic so they don't usually want to celebrate with the family. FathersDayWillBeGreat.com offers an easy program for parents to coach their teens to be (1) more appreciative and (2) more willing to celebrate with the family.

Sharon, MA (PRWEB) May 22, 2008 - Obama's two little daughters naturally love to celebrate family occasions but most teens naturally want to be left out. FathersDayWillBeGreat.com has launched a new program for parents: how to coach their teens in celebrating willingly with family.

FathersDayWillBeGreat.com is the latest initiative of Nitsan and Caroline Gaibel co-founders of EasierParentingMiddleSchool.com, a project that finds the most practical parenting resources and then sends them to parents in easy-to-apply-now packages that take just 5 minutes to complete.

So both Caroline and Nitsan are busy collecting parenting resources and trying them out every week. And, of course, they also invent their own solutions to parenting questions that come up.

This May, Caroline thought she would try an experiment: what would her teen boys do for her if she wouldn't tell them that Mother's Day was approaching? The answer: Mother's Day came and went and her kids did nothing.

"I thought that might happen," Caroline admits, "even though we are a family that raises our kids to be involved with family celebrations. But teenagers, especially boys, naturally behave differently than 8 year old little girls."

In response, the couple declared a new initiative, FathersDayWillBeGreat.com, which develops easy, quick activities for parents to do with their teens during these weeks between Mother's Day and Father's Day. The Gaibels will be trying out these activities with their own teens and sharing their results with other parents in their blog.

Their blog will include videos, demos and downloadable gameplans, as well as suggestions and experiences from parents.

"We intend to work with parents to create solutions and test them before Father's Day so that we can live up to our name: Father's Day will be great," says Nitsan.

"I don't know if Barack Obama will celebrate a victory in the Democratic Primaries in June," says Caroline, "But I'm almost certain that his two little daughters will give him and his wife a moving, heartfelt Father's Day celebration. If he had two teenage boys he might want to try our program."
