In order to qualify applicants must posses a valid teaching license, as well as a bachelor's degree in education, applied linguistics or English. Formal teaching experience is also preferred.

Successful candidates will teach between 20-24 hours per week. Salaries range between $60,890-85,000NT (Taiwanese dollar). Other benefits include medical insurance, furnished housing, round-trip airfare for both applicant and spouse, 10 days paid vacation, plus end-of-contract performance bonuses. All foreign teachers will receive continual support from Taiwanese co-teachers in the classroom.

Applications close on June 1, 2008, and teachers are expected to arrive in Taiwan on August 18, 2008 to commence orientation and training.
