Unique Web Building Course to Commence at Box Hill Tafe, Melbourne, Australia

Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) May 22, 2008 -- A unique web course, 'Building a Successful Business Using the Internet' the first of its kind in Melbourne, is soon to be delivered via Box Hill Tafe.

The course, available to both business owners and those with a concept for an online business is to be delivered over ten weeks commencing in July. Participants will complete the 10 week course with a functioning online business which they can continue to nurture using the skills learnt during the course. The sessions will consist typically of 50% classroom tutorial and 50% practical, and technical expertise is not required.

Participants will undertake unique brainstorming exercises to determine the viability of their ideas and then learn how build a search engine optimised website using these results. They also explore a range of monetising options and apply the most applicable to their website/business from the tools provided in the course.

Tutors will share their own experience from building successful websites using the same technology to help students explore their options. Nicole O'Reilly of Anyhoodles, manages three of her own sites, receiving thousands of targeted visitors per day, is one of the tutors for the course.

O'Reilly said of the course, "It is exciting to be able to give people the skills and confidence to build and manage a website on their own. We also help them to find new ways of making money online outside of their core business. People get really excited when the see the traffic levels possible, and that once you have targeted traffic that there are many different ways of producing income."

The course commences on Saturday 26th July with limited places available. Interested parties can attend information sessions being held on the 24th May an the 7th June at Box Hill Tafe.
