According to Scoble, "Google Reader was mentioned in my poll more than any other app. Another one that came up often was PimpMyNews.com, which turns text blogs into MP3 audio files, so you can listen on the go." Later, in a conversation on Twitter between Scoble and PimpMyNews CEO John Atkinson, Scoble stated, "I was shocked how many people like PimpMyNews."
According to Pew Internet, 94 million Americans (31%) now use the Internet for news, compared to 2% a decade ago. PimpMyNews transforms web-based news from a vast selection of text sources into a portable audio format, allowing people to listen to the web anytime, anywhere.
