DealMax Helps Members Escape into Movies Without Leaving Home
AP9*DealMax Gives the Word on the Latest DVD and Video Releases
Norwalk, Conn. (PRWEB / PRWEB) November 11, 2008 -- DealMax (SM), a multi-tiered discount shopping program from Adaptive Marketing LLC®, knows that many people love to escape into the world of movies -- especially during tough economic times. While a trip to the box office remains cost-effective, there's no arguing that DVD and video rentals are an even better bargain. In fact, with all the deals most DVD and video stores provide (and considering the extended rental period many such stores allow), renting a movie is really the next best way to get the full film experience.
AP9*DealMax Gives the Word on the Latest DVD and Video Releases
That's why Deal Max has put together a short list of soon-to-be-released DVDs and videos, most of which were in movie theaters not too long ago. The following is a list of those new releases that put viewers right into the action -- without ever having to leave the couch:
-- Kung Fu Panda, November 11 (comedy, rated PG). Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman and others lend their voices to this animated hit about a panda that reluctantly becomes a martial arts hero.
-- This Christmas, November 11 (drama, rated PG-13). Surprising secrets are revealed and family bonds are pushed to the limit when an African-American family reunites for Christmas at the family's Los Angeles-area home.
-- Star Wars: The Clone Wars, November 11 (action/adventure, rated PG). Experience another intergalactic struggle between the forces of good and evil, as the fate of the universe depends on the brave but heavily outnumbered Jedi Knights.
-- Tropic Thunder, November 18 (comedy, rated R). Follow the hilarious exploits of a group of pampered Hollywood actors (Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Brandon T. Jackson) who get more than they bargained for when their desperate director attempts to give them a taste of "real combat."
-- Fred Claus, November 25 (comedy, rated PG). Learn all about Santa Clause's less-than-kindred brother, Fred (Vince Vaughn), in this holiday treat that gives new (and hilarious) meaning to the Christmas spirit.
-- Meet Dave, November 25 (comedy, rated PG). When a giant fireball from space crashes into New York City's Central Park, an ordinary man (Eddie Murphy) walks away unhurt. The only problem is that the man isn't flesh and blood at all, but instead a human-looking spaceship, operated by about 100 tiny aliens.
Try to remember that staying entertained through the magic of movies -- laughing, escaping, and even getting a little sentimental now and then -- doesn't have to cost much, reports DealMax. Just keep an eye out for these and other great money-saving tips, suggests DealMax.
