British Painter Banned for Nude Exhibit Brings Back Sex Appeal

Anthony John Gray reveals a limited edition giclee print set of Time Will Tell.
Carrying her own seed into the future she looked out over the endless sea. Carrying life into the future she sat silently waiting, her spirit bathing in the light of the physical universe. Shining within her a life force reflected in triangles of energy. Under the glory of the early moon she waited ... Time Will Tell.

(PRWEB) February 15, 2008 -- Anthony John Gray, a British painter, was banned in the 1970’s for an outside nude exhibition in Brighton. Thirty years later, Mr. Gray reveals a limited edition giclee print set of Time Will Tell.

News ImageTime Will Tell is an angelic nude that involves a sun-kissed woman inside geometric triangles; sitting on the seawall facing the ocean. Between her breathtaking wings are her enticing curves and long, polished pin straight hair that is untouched by the sea breeze. Mr. Gray has described the painting with his own thought:

“Carrying her own seed into the future she looked out over the endless sea. Carrying life into the future she sat silently waiting, her spirit bathing in the light of the physical universe. Shining within her a life force reflected in triangles of energy. Under the glory of the early moon she waited ... Time Will Tell.”

Before undertaking a journey into fine arts, Anthony John Gray was a police officer with the Sussex Constabulary stationed at East Grinstead. He is a self taught artist and after spending many years developing his own style of imagery, the artist remarks that his work carries a title of Spiritual Logic. In 1987, Mr.Gray was made honorary citizen of Palm Springs for artistic achievement; he designed the reverse of one of five commemorative medals for the Palm Springs Golden Anniversary along with Yaccov Agam, Leroy Neimann, R.C.Gorman and Olaf Weighorst.

Anthony John Gray is represented by Harkrider Fine Arts in the U.S and can be reached through www.harkriderfinearts.com or the contact information below.
