Stuart, FL (PRWEB) September 9, 2006 - September 9, 2006 -- Homeowners dealing with problems in homes built by Lennar Corporation now have a means to share information and form coalitions to address the issues they face when they purchase a home. The launch of www.Lennar-Homes.info will compliment the two national organizations addressing similar issues, Homeonwers Against Deficient Dwellings - www.HADD.com and Home Owners for Better Building - www.HOBB.org.

Lennar-Homes.info will serve homeowners that have purchased a Lennar built home, as well as buyers considering purchasing a home built by Lennar Corporation. The site features reviews and comments from buyers, inspection reports and articles dealing with Lennar built homes.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.
In addition to articles and comments, the site provides contact info for officials in the State of Florida, as well as a search tool for finding the appropriate Attorney General in all 50 states. New additions to the site will include nationwide contact information for state and federal officials.

The recent launch of www.Lennar-Homes.info was initially concerned with Florida homeowners, but with nationwide interest, the decision was made to expand available information to all 50 states.

The site has pages referencing the death of a deliveryman in a Lennar built home. Rafael Ugalde was electrocuted on his one year old daughter’s birthday, as he was installing a dryer in a new Lennar built home. According to a report from a Problem Solvers Investigation, Rafael was electrocuted even though the power to the room had been turned off. An investigation revealed defective wiring of the home, even though the home had recently been inspected by local officials.

Other articles and posts on the site deal with mold, plumbing issues, deficient stucco, electrical problems, as well as problems with ductwork, drywall, roof installation and trusses. Within the site visitors will be able to download recent inspection reports of Lennar built homes with a variety of defects and building code violations.
The overall objective of the new site is to inform homeowners and homebuyers, as well as to serve as a collection point for information. The theme of the site tracks a quote from Margaret Mead when she said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has."

The site’s developer, Mike Morgan, is committed to developing a grass roots movement throughout the United States to address defective homes and the issues surrounding how these home receive approval from local officials, as well as what consumers can do when they find out they have purchased a defective home.
