MilitaryResumes.com Resume Writers for Military Resumes and Federal Resumes Announces Sponsorship and Event Participation

The company, which delivers civilian resumes for ex-military, sponsored the 8th Annual Allen Stone Memorial Run in Virginia Beach, VA.
As a company that specializes in preparing a military-to-civilian resume, as well as a business that is owned by and employs veterans, we have a special appreciation of the skills and dedication that military service members bring to civilian jobs. We hope that this sponsorship was another way to help those who serve our country and our community.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 30, 2007 -- MilitaryResumes.com, the military-to-civilian resume and transition experts, recently sponsored the Allen Stone Memorial Races that took place Saturday, July 21, 2007. The races, which included a Run-Swim-Run, a 5K on the Boardwalk, and one mile race for children, occurred at Neptune’s Park - 31st Street near the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

“MilitaryResumes.com was honored to be a sponsor of the Allen Stone Memorial Races,” said Tim Best, president. “As a company that specializes in preparing a military-to-civilian resume, as well as a business that is owned by and employs veterans, we have a special appreciation of the skills and dedication that military service members bring to civilian jobs. We hope that this sponsorship was another way to help those who serve our country and our community.”

The Allen Stone Memorial Run first began in 1999 as the “Brace Heart Run-Swim-Run.” Allen Stone, a Virginia Beach Navy SEAL, competed in the first race and won in his age category. Shortly after the race, he died in a SEAL training accident. The race was renamed to honor Stone’s bravery and service to his nation. All donations from the event go to the Naval Special Warfare Foundation and the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
