Contest kicks off today with winning design to be printed and made available at Clandestine Industries new Chicago boutique and online store.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 26, 2007 -- Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and the queen of all media, Perez Hilton have wanted to create a t-shirt for Pete's clothing line Clandestine Industries for some time. The two quickly decided that the shirt should appropriately say "I Love Being a ****talker," but were stumped when it came to the design. Deciding to put creative control in the hands of their fans, they have teamed up with FriendsorEnemies.com, Pete and Fall Out Boy's official fan community, for the "I Love Being a ****Talker" Clandestine T-Shirt Design Contest, which kicks off today.
The one-of-a-kind winning design, which will be chosen by Pete, Perez and a panel of Clandestine Industries designers, will be printed and sold in the company's new landmark store in Chicago and on the company's website. The winner will also received one of their shirts signed by both Pete and Perez.
"Perez and I have been talking about designing something for ages and then when we were in Vegas for the VMA's we started kickin' around ideas," said Pete. "The ****talker part came easy and u should wear it like a badge of honor. Now u can. Our fans on FriendsorEnemies are crazy creative, so there's definitely going to be some stiff competition."
"I'm a big fan of Pete, not just as a musician but also as a designer and a person," said Perez. "I wear Clandestine all the time and this contest is a great way to combine my brand with Pete's AND make it super-interactive. Now quit talking shiz and start making tees!"
Entering is easy! All fans need to do is use their artistic talents to create a totally unique and original computer graphic design set on a white t-shirt. The words "I Love Being a ****Talker" MUST be included somewhere on the shirt. Once the design is ready to submit, go to the I Love Being a ****Talker Group on FriendsorEnemies.com and follow the prompts. The artwork MUST be saved and uploaded in VECTOR form.
The deadline to enter is December 14, 2007 and there is no limit to how many designs people can submit. Pete, Perez and a panel of Clandestine Industries designers will review all entries and choose one winner who will be announced on FriendsorEnemies.com and PerezHilton.com on Friday, December 21. Please note: Clandestine Industries will own the winning design and reserves the right to alter it at their discretion.
