People need people. It's just that simple

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) May 16, 2007 -- AttackAnxiety.com (www.attackanxiety.com), an online resource for individuals suffering from anxiety, announces its recent launch. Founder Steven Diamond also announces the launch of the Soldiers at Peace Project, a free anxiety and stress management training course for those in the armed forces and the students of Virginia Tech.

AnxietyAttack.com offers information and insight into anxiety and treatment options. The site provides a description of what anxiety is, as well as details of different treatment options and resources that are available. The anxiety forum is another tool that anxiety sufferers can use to become more informed about their disorders and connect with others who face the same situation.

After service, some wounded soldiers will return to civilian life minus one or more limbs, or with serious wounds or disfiguring scars, and face even greater challenges in their lives. Many thousands more will return with no physical scars, yet, Diamond says, they are just as injured.

The Soldiers at Peace Project was founded on the principle that men and women in the armed forces should not be forgotten before, during or after their service. The project seeks to assist those men and women by providing free mental resources and a support system of caring people.

"People need people. It's just that simple," says Diamond, who is also a television anxiety and stress management personality. "The Soldiers at Peace Project is only the first step in a grand vision of free support. After meeting some of these brave young people upon their return, I knew I had to do something. Some of them were like zombies, emotionally numb. It was gut-wrenching to see them so empty. I'm hoping it will help make a real difference in their lives."

About Steven Diamond
Steven Diamond, a world famous Las Vegas magician who has performed in more than 30 nations and entertained millions of people, silently suffered with an undiagnosed illness that brought him to the brink of suicide. He was homeless, raped as a child and even found his best friend's mother dead, hacked into pieces by someone he knew.

It wasn't until age 30 and a life-threatening breakdown while performing with the Osmond brothers that he was finally diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder, acute anxiety and manic depression.
