Whitewater Films and Reactor Films Option "The Transitional Guy"
"The Transitional Guy", written by Amy Morland and Vicki Rocco, has been optioned by Whitewater Films and Reactor Films. The script is about a struggling writer who uses his own dating experiences with recent divorcees as source material for his next book. The film will be produced by Rick Rosenthal of Whitewater Films, Danny Llewelyn of Reactor Films and Trent Broin. Michael Romersa is attached as an executive producer.
Los Angeles, CA (Vocus/PRWEB ) May 9, 2008 -- "The Transitional Guy", written by Amy Morland and Vicki Rocco, has been optioned by Whitewater Films and Reactor Films. The script is about a struggling writer who uses his own dating experiences with recent divorcees as source material for his next book. However, his reputation as the perfect "transitional guy" leads to problems when he falls for one of his subjects.
The film will be produced by Rick Rosenthal of Whitewater Films, Danny Llewelyn of Reactor Films and Trent Broin. Michael Romersa is attached as an executive producer.

"This is the best script I've read in this genre since 'Wedding Crashers'." This project marks the first collaboration between the two companies, who both have a track record of producing high quality feature films. Working with producer Doug Sutherland and senior vice president Valeska Ramet, Whitewater recently wrapped production on "Greta" starring Hilary Duff, Evan Ross, Ellen Burstyn and Michael Murphy, while multi-media company Reactor Films, Inc produced "Akeelah and the Bee" with Lionsgate Films.
