Young Iraqi Entrepreneur Launches a Unique Advertising Model Aimed at Moving His Family Out of War-Torn Iraq

Mody Jabar, a nineteen-year-old Iraqi Web entrepreneur living abroad, is launching Busvertiso, a project offering advertisers a unique combination of online advertising and interactive outdoor advertising using a million-dollar US bus tour at a rate affordable to webmasters and small businesses. The effort is to raise money to get Jabar's family, still in Iraq, out of the country.

Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) July 31, 2007 -- Mody Jabar, a nineteen-year-old Iraqi forced to leave his home in Iraq for Spain after being attacked by Iraqi militia, is determined to raise enough money to get his family out of Iraq and secure a place for them in a peaceful country. He plans to accomplish this with a unique advertising concept that forms a hybrid between online and offline advertising. Jabar will be launching a million dollar project called Busvertiso that will have a custom built bus touring 100 US cities for a full year. The bus will spend a minimum of three days in each city along the tour, and will use its twenty 60-inch high-definition screens and interactive features to offer unique exposure for advertisers.

quot;Like most Iraqis, my family and I have been damaged greatly by the current situation in Iraq," says Jabar. "We've been the target of several attacks during the last several years. My two older brothers had to flee the city after one of them was shot. I myself was attacked by militias after spending ten months in the US as an exchange student for being a suspected "American agent," and was forced to flee the country at the age of seventeen, just three months after coming back from my exchange trip. A Spanish family whose daughter I met in the US helped me leave."

The website and bus tour are designed to provide maximum exposure to advertisers. The money raised will be used to support the creation of a customized bus from a top US specialty vehicle manufacturer and the tour itself, but also to get Jabar's family out of Iraq and provide medical care for his ailing sister. By making the $450 advertising spots available to a maximum of 39 advertisers for each city the bus will visit, Jabar will earn enough to meet his goals while offering a unique online and outdoor interactive advertising option to webmasters and small business owners who otherwise could not afford the same level of exposure.

"Last year my now-eighteen-year-old sister started suffering from a chronic kidney disease that doctors there, due to poor supplies and the fact that most good doctors have already fled the country to save their lives, can not treat properly. Her disease, along with the attack that got my brother shot a few months before, are the main reasons why I started this project. I needed to try to make things better, and I figured that the best way to do that was by offering something of real value," says Jabar.

In addition to the outdoor advertising offered by the bus, advertisers will receive ad spots on Busvertiso.com, a uniquely designed site that is scheduled for heavy promotion and paid advertising to drive traffic to the "Busvertisers." For small business owners willing to advertise but who do not have a website, a simple professional Web page will also be created free of charge with their own unique .com domain name.
