You can watch the river roll by or enjoy the wildlife in the front yard.
"This is a truly unique home," said Owen. "It's constructed out of steel and glass in the shape of an equilateral triangle, and situated on two acres bordering the Ozark National Forest and overlooking the White River."

Owen explained, "This custom home is built very similar to a pyramid. Each side is 55 feet tall. The exterior walls are constructed of steel and thermo-pane glass supported by steel beams. The walls contain 32 panels of solid safety glass that are solar reflective, double-paned and filled with argon gas.

"The home has over 420 square feet of wood deck with awning and an 80-square-foot covered front porch," said Owen. "You can watch the river roll by or enjoy the wildlife in the front yard."

The home has nine total rooms, including three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, contained in 3,210 square feet. There is a custom-built spiral stairway from the first to the third level along with an elevator that is centered in the home.

The interior walls are Red Cedar wood, and the ceilings are pine with wood trim. The kitchen, all baths, and the laundry room are all done in ceramic tile. The rest of the house is wall-to-wall carpet.

The kitchen features oak cabinets with ceramic tile countertops and backsplash. The cabinet doors are in-laid with custom copper panels. The ceramic-topped island boasts a Jenn-air cook top, and the kitchen is equipped with all GE black glass appliances, including, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, built-in Advantium oven, microwave, dishwasher and trash compactor.

The second floor contains the master bedroom suite with two walk-in closets. The bath has a double sink vanity, a large walk-in shower with dual showerheads and seat inside with steam accessibility. There is also a full size Jacuzzi bath, built-in linen closet and medicine cabinet.

The third floor contains a half bathroom and bonus room. The 315-square-foot fourth floor is dedicated to a telescope area, sunroom/greenhouse area and elevator equipment room.

The property comes with a 520-foot well on two acres which are mostly flat and cleared. The property borders the Ozark National Forest on one side, and a private landing airstrip is available less than a mile from the house. Less than 10 minutes away is the world-famous White River, with Lake Norfork, boasting 500 miles of shoreline, only 15 minutes away.

Owen notes, "The area was recently named by Field & Stream magazine as the #2 best fishing destination in America."

The property will be sold above a minimum bid of $350,000. Interested parties may pre-bid now through 3pm on Wednesday, March 12, on www.naalive.com. The five high bidders will be contacted to complete the auction via phone at 1p.m. on Thursday, March 13.

The home may be previewed on Monday, March 8, from 10am until 2pm (cst). Broker participation is welcome. For more information, call toll-free 1-800-257-4161 for details on registering and bidding, or visit www.higgenbotham.com/dup.
