BACARDI B-LIVE Concert Set to Rock Miami on March 17, St. Patrick's Day
BACARDI B-LIVE Headliners Include International Performer Paul
Oakenfold, Camp Freddy, DJ AM and Travis Barker and DJ Le Spam & The
Spam Allstars.
MIAMI (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) March 10, 2007 --
BACARDI B-LIVE, a one-of-a-kind, cutting-edge concert, brings together a
never-before-seen collection of artists to collaborate together at
Miami's Bayfront Amphitheater on March 17th. The concert kicks off a
world-renowned week full of winter music events and DJ conferences
throughout Miami and Miami Beach.
"BACARDI B-LIVE is a 25-country global event, and while each event is
unique, every concert delivers an individual, one-of-a-kind,
collaboration of legendary music artists, great-tasting BACARDI Rum
cocktails, and an unforgettable experience," said Shane M. Graber,
BACARDI Rum Group Marketing Manager. "BACARDI B-LIVE is the coolest
thing to do in fabulous Miami on St. Patty's Day."
"The star-studded talent set to take the BACARDI B-LIVE stage includes
world renowned DJ Paul Oakenfold, accompanied by members of the Florida
Classical Orchestra; and Camp Freddy, a rock superstar band including
Dave Navarro of The Panic Channel and Jane's Addiction, Chris Chaney of
Jane's Addiction and Alanis Morissette, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple
Pilots and Velvet Revolver, Matt Sorum of Guns and Roses and Velvet
Revolver, Billy Morrison of The Cult, and Donovan Leitch who will be
joined by special guests Mark McGrath, Jerry Cantrell, Duff McKagen and
Billy Duffy. Fans will also be able to watch the celebrity spinner DJ AM
collaborating with punk rock drummer Travis Barker. Miami's own DJ Le
Spam and The Spam Allstars will open the show, playing their innovative
blend of improvisational electronic mix of Latin, funk, hip hop and dub."
BACARDI B-LIVE will feature a cocktailing experience unlike any other at
the "BACARDI Avenue of Cocktails." For the first time ever, attendees
will be able to become a "BACARDI Mix Master" by designing their own
custom signature BACARDI cocktail recipes at a special computer-module
live at the event, or online at www.blivemiami.com
- then have that cocktail prepared by one of the BACARDI Master
Mixologists at the "BACARDI Mix Your Own" bar. Other venues unique to
BACARDI B-LIVE include the world famous "BACARDI Mojito Cocktail Bar,"
"BACARDI Frozen Drink Ice Bar," and also the "BACARDI Grand Bar,"
featuring a mix of great-tasting BACARDI cocktails, limited only by
someone's imagination.
BACARDI will donate the evening's proceeds to Miami's Lyric Theater in
an effort to help support, preserve and promote Miami's rich musical
history. The Lyric Theater is a part of the Black Archives History and
Research Foundation of South Florida.
"This charitable endeavor is a natural extension of what BACARDI B-LIVE
is-a diverse collaboration of artists and audience, dedicated to having
a sensational time, while benefiting the cultural community at large,"
said Marta Maria Garcia, BACARDI Rum Experiential Marketing Manager. "In
addition to our charitable efforts, we are proud to support social
responsibility in all our experiential marketing efforts," added Garcia.
While BACARDI B-LIVE is an exclusive ticketed event, adults over the age
of 21 may log onto www.blivemiami.com
