Brookings, South Dakota (PRWEB) April 22, 2008 -- Talario LLC, a recognized leader in the emerging digital writing market, today announced a partnership to provide digital signature capture capability for Efficient Technology Inc's (ETI) industry leading Quik! forms automation solutions.

Talario's Xpaper technology closes the loop on transaction automation by enabling users to sign paper forms with wet signatures while simultaneously capturing the signature in an authenticated digital format. ETI's Quik! Forms will utilize Xpaper to provide an intuitive and natural way for financial planners and insurance professionals to automate the process of signature capture.
"Xpaper is the easiest way to digitally sign forms generated by Quik! because everyone already knows how to use ink and paper, and that's exactly what Xpaper is - ink and paper. Our partnership with Xpaper provides a cost-effective signature solution that is easy to deploy, maintain and already complies with existing documentation requirements," said Richard Walker, CEO of Efficient Technology Inc. "This partnership means that customers using Quik! to generate, validate and process form data electronically can fully automate their process by using Xpaper to capture compliant wet signatures and archival images of the finished documents."
Xpaper is an innovative technology that automatically captures handwriting on printed documents. Xpaper simplifies the process of using Anoto digital paper technology, which utilizes a digital pen and a pattern of nearly invisible background of microdots to record handwritten signatures and information on paper.
Using the Xpaper printer driver, a microscopic dot pattern is automatically applied to the background of any document as it is printed on a laser printer. Later, after writing on the document and docking the digital pen in a USB cradle, PDF copies of the completed document are automatically reproduced on the PC, where they can immediately be digitally saved, routed, or processed. The original paper document containing the ink handwriting can be retained for recordkeeping purposes or immediately disposed if no longer needed.
"We are excited to have ETI incorporate Xpaper into their automated forms solutions. Our combined technologies will simplify the everyday workflow of financial professionals," said Tim Aughenbaugh, president of Talario. "We look forward to working with ETI to deliver this time and cost saving benefit to the financial services industry."
