UAE Embassy Launches New Web Resources for Media Covering President Bushs Visit to the Middle East

WASHINGTON (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) January 8, 2008 -- The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new website (http://www.uae-us.org/BushVisitsUAE) with resources for individuals and organizations who are interested in the UAE-US bilateral relationship.

President Bush departs today on a multi-nation tour of the Middle East, which includes the UAE. While in the UAE, President Bush is expected to deliver a major policy address.

The UAE is a source of stability, tolerance, innovation, and growth in the Arabian Gulf and around the globe. And the UAE and US have enjoyed a long and peaceful relationship, rooted in shared strategic interests that include:

  • Enhancing regional stability and security
  • Ensuring reliable energy supplies to world markets
  • Encouraging global free trade and investment
  • Confronting terrorism and extremism.
