Evolution Off Road Announces Plug and Play Power for Arctic Cat Prowler
Evolution Off Road has launched sales of its new Capacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI) system for the Arctic Cat Prowler. The new CDI is a plug and play performance enhancement that is designed to substantially increase torque and add 6-8 mph in top-end speed.
El Centro, California (PRWEB) February 9, 2008 -- Evolution Off Road has launched sales of its new Compacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI) system for the Arctic Cat Prowler.

The company recently completed development and testing of the system, which is designed to substantially increase torque and add 6-8 mph in top-end speed to the Prowler. The performance gains are accomplished through an accelerated timing curve and adjustments to the engines revolutions per minute (RPM) limiter. The Performance CDI is compatible with all 2006-08 Arctic Cat Prowlers, with or without the digital dash. It is designed to be a true plug and play performance enhancement and takes less than five minutes to install. The new Performance CDI's are now available for direct ordering from the Evolution Off Road Web site and will be shipped to select Arctic Cat Dealers beginning February 25.
"It has taken hundreds of hours of programming, dyno-testing and physical testing to complete the development of this product," stated Jeff Sonn, General Manager of Evolution Off Road, LLC. "The challenge was to program a new CDI that would increase performance while maintaining the integrity of the stock systems and features. When you combine the CDI with our performance exhaust system the Prowler really evolves into an amazing performance machine."

The video was of a customer doing wheelies around camp in his Prowler, right after he installed the new CDI. Other than safety equipment, the only performance enhancements that he had were the new CDI and our performance exhaust. At that moment we knew we had something our Arctic Cat customers would love."
