Web backup company FilesAnywhere.com announced new storage plans today
for its online file storage service. A 5GB WebAdvanced storage plan is
now available for $8.95/month with unlimited uploads and downloads. In
addition to backup and file sharing, users can also directly access
files online at FilesAnywhere, like a virtual hard drive.
Other storage plans were introduced including new high-capacity plans
ranging from 100GB to 500GB. All storage plans are purchased and

WebAdvanced plans come with an assortment of advanced features,
including automated computer backup, local-remote synchronization,
permission-based folder sharing, file sharing to guests, SecureFTP

FilesAnywhere also increased storage for its WebAdvanced multi-user
accounts. WebAdvanced Workgroup plans, starting at $13.95 for two users,
now come with 5GB storage. Workgroup users can be added to any plan for
$5/month. In addition to standard features, users in FilesAnywhere
Workgroup plans get the Online Document Viewer, allowing immediate
online viewing of Microsoft Office documents and PDF files without any
downloads. Workgroup plans also get the Media Streaming feature, which
automatically creates streaming content by simply uploading video or
audio files.
FilesAnywhere also announced today that the company has completed a
major upgrade to its data center and storage architecture, supporting
its new high-capacity plans. The new architecture allows for unlimited
storage and user scalability. Included in the new platform is a
