Never-Ending Internet Show Lets the Public "Race" Against Each Other

How does First in Action, a never-ending Internet show that lets the public "race" against each other, work?
Watching First in Action will certainly be entertaining. But the ultimate fun of it comes from playing a real-life game with many players, and knowing that if you're the fastest, you're on the show.

(PRWEB) December 17, 2007 -- First in Action, a never-ending Internet show, is scheduled to go live on New Year's Day. Set up as a video chain that only stars its audience, First in Action lets the public "race" against each other to make it on the show.

The appeal? If you make it on First in Action, you get to direct the next person in the chain to do whatever you want.

The catch? To make it, you have to be the first to do whatever the last person in the chain wants. "This creates a massive race where you're pitted against your family, your friends, your neighbors, everyone," says David Hissami, founder & CEO of The Whoa Show, the company behind First in Action.

With First in Action, its premier show, The Whoa Show introduces its entertainment model: activity-driven video shows that only star the audience.

"As the First in Action concept demonstrates, this isn't television. The Whoa Show is not about sitting and watching, or even basic interaction. It's about active involvement and participation. What we do is excite people to get up, grab a camera, and have fun."

Hissami clarifies: "Watching First in Action will certainly be entertaining. But the ultimate fun of it comes from playing a real-life game with many players, and knowing that if you're the fastest, you're on the show."

To decide who gets to kick-start First in Action, The Whoa Show recently teamed up with Mashable, the world's largest blog on social networking, to run a competition. The winning video, to be the first in the never-ending chain, will be revealed soon.

About The Whoa Show
The Whoa Show makes activity-driven video shows that only star the audience. The Orange County, California-based media company will develop shows for various platforms, beginning with the web and expanding to mobile and beyond.
