Faircloth Estate Settlement Sends Estimated $250M in Florida Real Estate to Auction Block

Charles Faircloth estate, including 8.1 acre Bay County Florida gulf-front development known as Legacy, 1.8 acre gulf-front development known as The Breakers, along with many townhomes, single family homes and condominiums, will go up for bids on March 14.
Currently the two buildings situated on the property are occupied by restaurants.

Panama City Beach, FL (PRWEB) March 5, 2008 -- Roebuck Auctions will conduct the estate settlement auction of Charles Faircloth on Friday, March 14, at Noon (cst), consisting of an estimated $250 million dollars worth of real estate in Panama City Beach, Florida, according to Thania Krafthefer, project manager.

"The centerpiece of this auction is an 8.1 acre gulf front development known as Legacy," said Krafthefer. "Legacy is the largest gulf front development parcel in Bay County, Florida, with an incredible 860 feet of frontage on the Gulf of Mexico." She added that there is a Development Order in place until June 2008 for a 30 Story, 688-unit condo project, with an extension available. Also included is a DEP Permit.

Three other gulf front developments are available at this auction. "One of them, called The Breakers, is situated on 1.8 acres, with 204 feet of frontage on the Gulf of Mexico," Krafthefer said. "Currently the two buildings situated on the property are occupied by restaurants." The Breakers has a development order in place for a 22 story, 154 unit condominium project.

In addition, many townhomes, single family homes and condominiums are up for auction, including seven units in the popular Treasure Island condominium complex. Treasure Island offers its owners over 400 feet of white sand beaches, a large heated pool, fitness and game rooms, owner's lounge, covered parking, high speed elevators, kiddy pool and gazebo, and all units are gulf front.

Panama City Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and is known as "The Beach Lovers Beach" for its sugar white sand beaches and clear, emerald green waters. It boasts over 27 miles of award-winning beaches and has been recognized by the Travel Channel and Southern Living Magazine as a top US beach destination.

The auction will be held at the Baypoint Marriott in Panama City Beach. Arrangements can be made to bid via phone if necessary.
