(Vocus/PRWEB ) June 10, 2008 -- Forty second productions is proud to announce the completion of their first feature film, 'Easier With Practice' starring Brian Geraghty, Kel O'Neill, Marguerite Moreau, Jeanette Brox and Jenna Gavigan.
This feature is a dramedy about Davy Mitchell (Brian Geraghty) and his brother Sean (Kel O'Neill) who travel throughout the mid-west in an effort to promote Davy's unpublished novel. However, being on the road takes its toll on Davy, as the trip proves to be a lonely and unfulfilling experience. That is, until one night he receives a random phone call from a woman named Nicole. He develops a deeply personal phone relationship with her that takes him down a path he least expects.
Newcomer, Kyle Patrick Alvarez directed and adapted this feature from an autobiographical story written by cult favorite Davy Rothbart, creator of Found magazine. The article, "What are You Wearing?" was originally published in GQ Magazine. Cookie Carosella produced 'Easier With Practice' with forty second productions.
The film stars industry veteran Brian Geraghty who has played multiple leading roles in acclaimed dramas such as 'Jarhead", 'Bobby', 'We Are Marshall' and 'The Guardian'. Geraghty's talent and dedication to the role helped bring the lead character of 'Davy' to life.
Kyle Patrick Alvarez is a recent graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Motion Picture Production and English Literature. Known for his short films that have won numerous film festival awards, he is a dedicated filmmaker who seeks excellence in every facet of his craft. In principal photography, he embraced the latest in digital technology by working with the RED camera, utilizing a tapeless workflow. Kyle Patrick Alvarez is a true innovator, who is setting the standard for the new generation of filmmakers. 'Easier With Practice' marks Alvarez's feature directorial debut.
Cookie Carosella and Kyle Alvarez have collaborated on multiple productions for the past two years. Carosella was Vice President Physical Production for Hyde Park Entertainment, working with Disney and MGM on multiple feature films and was Associate Producer and Post Production Supervisor on 'Bringing Down the House', starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah. Carosella also works with many of her friends in the industry to help nonprofits tell their story and is currently working on a feature length documentary with award-winning author Luis Rodriguez about transforming the lives of disaffected and abandoned youth in East Los Angeles.
'Easier With Practice' was shot on location in Albuquerque, New Mexico with the support of the New Mexico Film Office and Governor Bill Richardson.
