Flying Objects -- A Media Innovation Goes Outdoors

This is what blimp technology finally has become: after many successful indoor events, Gear Factor just broke through the barrier and completed the company's first outdoor media action. They certainly have proven, that radio-controlled Flying Objects are one of the hottest media concepts around.

(PRWEB) November 21, 2007 --

Flying Objects for OOH Gear Factor has recently brought its first OOH project to a successful conclusion. Cooperating with TBWA Buenos Aires the company realized this spectacular event for Adidas Latin America. It was staged to coincide with the final of the 2007 Copa America in Venezuela. Giant soccer balls flew with perfection between the span separating four huge billboards. This break-through technology was designed to work with wind speeds of up to Beaufort 4 in urban environments. The concept targets media actions in city centers, sport arenas and other populated venues, where unconventional features are required to cut with impact through the clutter of traditional outdoor advertising. This is the world's first flying solution of its kind for OOH media.

This technology is fit to elevate many OOH advertisements to new heights.

Gear Factor's board believes, that the Flying Object's unmatched level of detail along with innovative outdoor capacities is a powerful combination. They add: "This technology is fit to elevate many OOH advertisements to new heights." Introducing this concept to media players in many countries resulted in a massive wave of interest.

Air Ray With Bionic Wings
The first ever flying machine powered by bionic wings is another stunning development the company was busy with earlier this year. Inspired by nature, Gear Factor developed this concept for Festo, an international hi-tech firm. The launch of this unique attention-grabber stole the show at this year's Hannover Messe, one of the largest trade shows in Europe.

Flying Dragon Steals the Show in Macao
A massive Chinese Flying Dragon electrified the audience at the grand opening of the Venetian Casino in Macao. The event's central show part was organized by the Cirque du Soleil and the grand finale, featuring the dragon flight, grabbed the lime light of the evening.

Ford Mondeo European Launch Commercial
Flying Objects were a key factor in realizing this great 90-second ad titled 'Desire', produced for the European launch of the all-new Ford Mondeo. Nothing beats in-camera shots, so Gear Factor contributed to this great work by providing all of the 'real' flying cars.
